HOW TO FILL-IN THE APPLICATION AND BUDGET FORMS:
Please note that English is the work language of the Nando Peretti Foundation. We kindly request to fill-in the application and budget forms in all their sections in English.
The application and budget forms are to be sent with an official copy of the organisation's statute and a copy of the balance sheet of the last two years.
Do not modify the style and file format of the application and budget forms. Please, attach in separate files four pictures concerning the project proposal, in jpeg format and in high resolution.
INELIGIBLE REQUESTS:
Like most foundations, the Nando Peretti Foundation seeks to be strategic in its grant making decisions. Therefore, the Foundation does NOT provide grants for:
* ongoing general operating expenses or operating support
* operational phases of established projects
* specific individuals
* religious purposes
Moreover, the Foundation is unwilling to commit itself to the long-term support of any activity or organization.
Please note that the Nando Peretti Foundation's policy is to consider as indirect costs a maximum rate of 5%.
ACCOMPANYING MATERIAL:
Since our Foundation chooses to operate with a small staff, any material such as examples of past work, articles, brochures, annual reports or publications, videos, CDs, news articles and photographs have to be sent only if essential to the correct comprehension of the project to the following correspondence address:
The Nando Peretti Foundation

THE REVIEW PROCESS:
Your proposal will be briefly acknowledged upon its receipt. If it does not provide all the above specified information, you will have to supplement it. Otherwise, it will enter our revision process. Since the Foundation operates with a small staff, you should not expect a detailed answer to take less than six to eight weeks. After this delay, you should feel free to send us a follow-up inquiry.
Should your proposal be rejected, you will be notified immediately. If, on the contrary, the Foundation decides that your project is qualified for funding, we will contact you and provide all the relevant information for the granting procedure. A Foundation's Program Officer will keep in touch with you and help you in gathering, organizing and submitting all the relevant information.
The review process will end with the signature of an agreement specifying the mutual engagements of the Foundation and your organization, including the expected completion date, final outputs, agreed budget, progress reporting to the Foundation, and dissemination of the results.
